Simtex supplies one main number in addition to an individual number (Direct In-Dial) for each Cloud PBX extension. This is the main number people will use to contact your business. For example:
08 9488 3344 – Primary Inbound
08 9488 3341 – Extension 201
08 9488 3342 – Extension 202
08 9488 3343 – Extension 203
Upon signing up with Simtex you will receive an e-mail containing your individual account numbers and passwords:
Your primary inbound account has your main inbound number attached to it. This account is special in the sense that no physical handset is allocated to it, but you can have one (or many) phones ring when the number is called. It is simply used to ‘bounce’ calls to the desired destination or destinations!
There is no monthly fee for this account but as you have the ability to forward inbound calls to an external number, any externally-diverted calls will appear on this account – standard call charges apply.
Your primary inbound account has an account number and PIN, just like an individual extension. You may forward calls to an external number, receive voicemail by e-mail, or adjust which handsets ring when the number is called. Some clients may wish to have an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) or automated attendant configured – ie, press 1 to speak to accounts, press 2 for sales etc etc. All of these are options for your Primary Inbound account.
Forwarding calls to my main number
By default, inbound calls will ring a specific group of extensions and then divert to voicemail. In order to adjust the time delay or change the forwarding destination, please visit http://myaccount.simtex.com.au and login using your primary inbound account and password.

Voicemail for my main number
When setting up voicemail for your primary inbound account please dial 550 versus the usual 555. You will need to enter the primary inbound account and password.
Voicemail is active by default – if you would like to turn it off please visit http://myaccount.simtex.com.au and login using your primary inbound account and password.
