Voicemail Node

Allows callers to leave a message with optional greetings.

Optionally select ‘Silent’ if you use a Prompt Playback node beforehand.

Basic Usage

  • Typically used as a fallback from either a ring group, a queue, or a time-based switch.

  • No complex options: just pick the mailbox & greeting.

Detailed Parameters

  1. Node Name

    • What: Give a meaningful name for the node

  2. Mailbox

    • What: The extension or mailbox number.

    • Tip: Make sure it’s a valid, active mailbox in your phone system.

  3. Greeting Type

    • What: The recorded greeting that plays before beep.
      Optionally select Silent to just hear a ‘beep’ and start recording the message

    • Tip: You can set “unavailable” or “busy” greeting based on preference.

Example Use Case

  • After Hours: If the office is closed, the call goes straight here so the caller can leave a message.
